Constance Jo Culberson was born June 6, 1926 to Christina Ruth Moore and Lincoln H. Culberson. She was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio.

After losing her father at 3 years of age, Constance was raised by her mother, Ruth, and Aunt Dorothea until adulthood.

Constance met Adolph Frank Grajzar while serving as a military nurse during World War II.  The couple fell in love and ran away to Boone County, Iowa where they were married in 1948.  They brought a daughter, Cathleen Dianne, into the world on January 27, 1948.

The family moved back to Cleveland shortly before Adolph lost his battle to cancer on January 30, 1950.

Constance courted Richard John Kramer and remarried on December 10, 1950.

Their bond of love brought 6 beautiful children into the world:
